The DiMarzio Joe Satriani FRED Guitar Pickup Set This combination was specifically designed for Joe Satriani Ibanez JS1200 guitar and basically consists of a PAF Joe (DP213F) in the neck and a FRED (DP153F) in the bridge. Dropping this set into your guitar is going to get you very close to the sound that Joe gets from his PAF configured guitars.
The DiMarzio Joe Satriani FRED Guitar Pickup Set comprises of the following matched pickups:
- DiMarzio DP213F PAF Joe Neck Pickup (Humbucker, F-Spaced)
- DiMarzio DP153F FRED Bridge Pickup (Humbucker, F-Spaced)
We have selected F-Spaced pickups for this set as 90% of all DiMarzio pickups sold for Ibanez or similar guitars require F-Spacing. With regard to colour, we stock humbuckers in White with Gold Poles and Black as the majority of pickups sold for this combination are one or the other of these colours. Please note: Middle piclups, whether single coil or stacked humbucker are White / Chrome not White / Gold.
OPTION: For guitarists looking for a Satriani sound but with HSH pickup combinations, choose the option with the DP116BK pickup added (an EVO2, single coil in black) as this is recommened by DiMarzio.
